The subway of Moscow » Sokolnicheskaya Line » 'Ulitsa Podbelskogo'
'Ulitsa Podbelskogo' is the northeastern terminus of Sokonicheskaya Line in Moscow Subway system. The station has been founded on August 1, 1990 as a part of the district from 'Preobrazhenskaya Ploshad' to 'Ulitsa Podbelskogo' and has been named according to Podbelskiy Street, which was named in honour of V. N. Podbelskiy, the party and state leader of the USSR. But soon the street has been renamed, and the station hasn't, so its name has lost its geographical conjunction. The station has two exits. From the southern one you can exit to Otkrytoye Shosse (rus. Открытое шоссе, eng. Opened Highway), from the northern one — to Ivanteyevskaya Ulitsa (rus. Ивантеевская улица, eng. Number of retiring passengers per day is 45,1 thousand, number of entering passengers per day is 42,8 thousand. 'Ulitsa Podbelskogo' is a column trispan shallow station (the depth is 8 meters). On the station there are two lines of columns, with 26 columns in each line. The step of the columns is 6,5 meters. The columns are faced with white marble. The track walls are faced with metal strips forming a geometric pattern. The socle of the walls is faced with black granite.
